How do I start my service?
Just call ScooperDude at 704-846-9086 or sign up through our web site. We’ll schedule your first dog pile pickup and determine a regular scooping schedule for your yard.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. To stop service, call at least 24 hours before your next scheduled service visit. We would prefer a weeks notice.
Does someone have to be home when you come to scoop?
No. If your yard is fenced, we ask that you unlock the gate on your service day. For greater convenience, ScooperDude can provide you with a lock for your fence; we’ll give you a key and we’ll keep a key that we can use to get into the yard.
Can my dog be in the yard when you scoop?
We are long-time, experienced dog handlers. In most instances, your dog can be in the yard when we are there, but if your dog will not allow us to clean your yard or if you have an aggressive dog, we ask that you keep the dog confined so we can safely scoop your yard.
Do you work in bad weather?
Yes, we work unless it’s lightning or if heavy rainfall or the rare snowfall interferes with the quality of the job we can perform. Lighting and severe rainfall may compromise our safety. Usually we can make up a missed service call the next day. On the rare occasion of snow and ice service will be on your next scheduled service day.
On what days of the week do you offer scooper service?
Monday through Friday.
What if my service appointment falls on a holiday?
If your scheduled service falls on a holiday, we’ll adjust that weeks visit to accommodate the holiday.
Do you offer a one time service?
Yes. Please call for details and a price.
What do you do with the waste you scoop?
All waste is double bagged and disposed of according to E.P.A. requirements.
Are you licensed and insured?
When will I be billed and how can I pay?
You receive a statement in the middle of the month for the following months service. Payment is due by the 30th of each month. Payments received after the 15th will incur a $10 late fee for each month past due.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept checks and PayPal. You can also sign up for automatic payment through your bank.
How does your referral program work?
When you refer a new client to us you receive one regular service day free, along with a doggie bag with special treat for your dog.
What is your satisfaction guarantee?
If you aren’t satisfied with a service visit, we will scoop your yard for free or issue a credit if you notify us within 24 hours after your scheduled visit.
